Types of Fixed Deposits
  Fixed Deposit
You can open a normal Term Deposit with us with a minimum duration of 15 days (7 days for deposits of INR 1.5 million and above). Simple Interest method is taken for calculation of interest of this deposit.
  Cash Certificate
If you wish to place a deposit for a period of 181 days or above, you can opt for a Cash Certificate. Compound interest method (quarterly compounding) is taken for calculation of interest of this deposit.
  Handy Deposits
These are deposits in clusters. It gives you an advantage that if you require money urgently, you do not have to break the full FD, it can be broken in clusters.
  Sweepstake Deposits
These deposits are linked with your current account. As soon as the amount in the current account goes above the minimum amount specified, the amount more than the minimum amount gets transferred to Sweepstake Deposit in clusters. If balance in your current account reduces lower than minimum balance, then the FDs are broken and transferred to the current account based on the LIFO method.
  Mibor Linked Deposits
These are like normal fixed deposits, the difference being that the interest rate payable in not fixed but variable (linked to daily MIBOR – Mumbai Interbank Offered Rate).
